There is really one Dune and that's the one the studio released in the theatres and sat in the video store/DVD shelf. Either that or the not so bad TV mini-series. As someone that watched the original version a bunch before even knowing about/seeing the Redux, I've sort of been curious what someone that hasn't seen the original would think of the Redux as a film without knowing what was changed. I've always treated the original as sort of a curio anyhow since it's one of those movies where the director got ripped away before the final edit.
